Tiger Shark collects no personal data. Nothing you or your child does in the app ever leaves the device.

What the app stores, and where

To make practice work, the app keeps a small amount of information in local storage on your device only:

A player name you choose (this can be anything — it does not need to be a real name)
Practice progress: questions answered, topics practised, fish and streaks earned
Display settings, such as the look and text options

This information is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared. We cannot see it. It exists only on the device the app is installed on.

What we don't do

No accounts, sign-ups, or log-ins
No advertising of any kind
No analytics or tracking
No third-party services or SDKs
No cookies used for tracking
No collection of names, emails, locations, photos, contacts, or identifiers
No data sold or shared with anyone, ever

Children's privacy

This app is designed for children aged 10–11. Because no personal data is collected, transmitted, or processed by us, the app does not profile children, does not serve them ads, and holds nothing about them that could be disclosed. This approach is designed to meet UK GDPR and the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code by the simplest possible means: collecting nothing at all.

Permissions

The app requests no special device permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, location, or contacts. Audio is played (never recorded) for the spelling test.

Deleting data

All app data is removed by uninstalling the app, or by clearing the app's stored data in your device or browser settings. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated and the date above revised.
